Environmental Sustainability
Jakaar is dedicated to protecting the environment through responsible practices.
Investment in the latest European electronic molding equipment has facilitated a reduction in consumables such as electricity, water and oil.
As an example; regarding water, it all gets recirculated; where we can, we catch it off the roof to fill up our water towers, so that we’re trying to take as little of the main street system as possible. Making us a more sustainable and environmentally friendly plastics manufacturing business, benefiting both our customers and the wider community.
We pride ourselves in our in-house recycling scheme, providing a process for the use of materials recovered during the plastics injection molding process therefore any rejects are reground for reuse in other components. Application of these recycled materials contributes to a reduction in virgin material use and helps reduce material being sent to landfill.
Jakaar is fully owned and operated by the Holt family.
We have a strong focus on all forms of sustainability, from maintaining our business to protecting the social, economic, and environmental future of our surrounding communities.
This approach is increasingly relevant in today’s marketplace where most developed nations have shifted their focus towards businesses who operate responsibly.
This means:
Our open factory policy provides an opportunity for our customers to freely scrutinise our production practices.
We provide plastic manufacturing, product development, and engineering services, delivering high-quality, tailored solutions from concept to production.
