We are currently looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our innovative friendly team.

You will be responsible for supervising and facilitating the day to day operations in the factory and making sure production runs as smoothly as possible.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the production team and ensuring labour is rostered and allocated as efficiently as possible
• Starting/stopping and basic troubleshooting of production machines
• Working with key stakeholders to ensure production meets quality expectations and is running as per production plan
• Managing the preparation of raw materials for current and scheduled production jobs
• Production data recording and receipting finished products into warehouse
• Daily reporting of shift performance and regular effective communication with key stakeholders
• Ensuring all manufacturing documentation is followed to a high quality adhering to ISO: 9001 and ISO: 22000 standards

About you:

• Great Leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and quick decision making skills
• Experience and knowledge of current Health and Safety practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multitask efficiently and manage time accordingly
• At least 3 years’ experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
• A proactive approach to resolving issues
• Computer literacy is essential
• Injection Moulding or Plastics Manufacturing experience with knowledge of ISO: 9001 and ISO: 22000 standards is preferable, but not essential
